Blessington Community College is proud to welcome you to our new website. We offer a co-educational, multi-denominational and excellent second level education to students in our catchment area. Our College is highly regarded for its outstanding academic standards, the quality of teaching and learning that takes place on a daily basis and the friendly caring atmosphere that prevails within the school. Our dedicated teaching staff focuses on the individual student; encouraging and helping them to achieve their potential in a caring and supportive environment. We promote core values of respect, courtesy, responsibility and accountability while ensuring that a holistic approach to the education of our students prevails.
We welcome parents/guardians as partners in education and together we work towards a common goal of developing these core values while fostering a love of learning thereby ensuring our students leave Blessington Community College fully equipped with the skills to enter third level and working life. We offer Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Vocational Programmes along with Transition Year on a voluntary basis. Our students move on to attend the top universities and colleges in the country and they continue to maintain the sense of community that our College has nurtured in them.
