SET Mission Statement

We recognise each pupil as a unique individual with different talents and needs. We endeavour to meet their physical, intellectual and emotional needs through our student focused programmes. In fostering an atmosphere of learning that is holistic in approach, we nurture each individual student’s personal growth and development.

The core SET Team 2019/20 members are;

If you are concerned that your son/daughter is having educational difficulties, please contact your child's year head who will meet with the SET Teachers to discuss your concerns, the Year Head or an SET teacher will then get in contact.

We offer support to students in a variety of ways;

1. Small group teaching
2. In class support
3. One to one teaching
4. Subject reduction if necessary
5. SNA assistance if necessary
6. Advice on RACE applications

The Aims of the SET team at Blessington Community College are:
